What to see :: Introduction :: 3. Beaches

Corme Estuary and Laxe are an ideal place for practising nautical sports (swimming, sailing, diving, water ski, fishing). Whoever comes to the Laxe district can also enjoy its wonderful beaches:

Traba Beach

Located in Boaño (Traba). A beach open to the sea with fine sand extends 2.870 m. and is surrounded by sand dunes, salt marshes and a Laguna that's steeped in legends and that is of great environmental value. The great interest in the Laguna and beaches environmental value has meant that it has been declared a protected natural area in 1990.

Laxe Beach

This blue flag beach has fine white sand and extends 1320 m. in the shape of a shell. It is situated in the urban area of the town of Laxe and counts with all the services associated with blue flag and urban beaches.

De Soesto Beach

This beach is open to the sea and extends 860 m. During the last weekend in August the Surf Surf Championships of Spain are held here, given that it has ideal conditions for this sport.

Arnado Beach

Small beach extending 90 m. with fine sand, located in a cliffed area between the beaches of Soesto and Traba.
